Handsome 1930s Vintage English Glazed Bookcase with Key

Great looking English 1930s glazed bookcase in a fetching tone of oak and having enjoyed a session in our workshop to ensure it’s neat and ready to place.

A recent find, this one echo’s its era well with the reeded edge to the top a nice feature, those shapely graceful feet are rather attractive and the pattern of the glass framing a little different than the norm.

It’s in good order and has enjoyed a little time in our workshop - the grain is pleasing and we have carefully repolished it to show off the lovely oak tone. The door glass is repair and crack free, we have a working lock and key which is always a bonus with both doors close well. The 3 shelves are adjustable. Expect a little historic wear but nothing nasty.

When purchasing from us we include delivery in the purchase price which is based on a one person delivery for England and Wales. Please call or email for quotes to Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isles and for World-wide shipping. 

For any large items that require two people to lift the item, we ask that you are available at the time of delivery to be able to give our shipper a lift off the van and into your house with the item.  If you are not able to lift items yourself, we ask that you have someone on hand at the time of delivery to assist our shipper with moving the item. We are happy to quote for a two person delivery if required.
