Art Deco Cantilever Bentwood Armchair


A great looking steamed bentwood cantilever armchair C1930s in fine historic order. Like many of these types of chairs the design and shape is highly pleasing to the eye and couple this with the cantilever style, they are highly comfortable.


The chair sits in good order with its spring base and back giving good support to the burnt orange velvet buttoned shaped cushions, not new but in good order and usable. If you wish, our upholsterer could offer new cushions in a similar style and a cover for the rear springs at a cost of £310 plus VAT. You would require approximately 3 metres of fabric which we can assist with sourcing swatches etc. The frame has no cracks and comes with sensible day to day wear. We have carefully repolished the frame and ensured its ready for placing.
