Attractive Bergere 2 Seater Sofa C1915
An early 20th century Bergere 2 seater sitting in lovely condition with just the right amount of historic wear to the frame, and canework in first rate condition. This would happily sit in a hallway, garden room or maybe a large bedroom. These types of two seaters are featured in several original catalogues including those of Gillows and Heals.
Condition is good with a firm well aged frame - repair free, the cane work is strong and likely a costly refurbishment and is just starting to age up nicely. The sprung seat in a woven light sage green is perfectly usable however if you would like new upholstery our upholsterer can oblige for £220 plus VAT and you would require around 2 metres of fabric which we can assist in sourcing if you wish. Please let us know when ordering.
