All the hallmarks of what this designer strived for in his work. Frank Guille was one of Britain's finest mid-century designers. His work was defined by a dedication to function, utility and simplicity. Under a string of brilliant teachers, Frank Guille was shaped to become part of a new wave of designers. He first learned from English masters Robin Day and Gordon Russell. Later, on scholarship in Copenhagen, he studied under one of the founders of Danish modern furniture design - Kaare Klint. It possesses real style and would be perfect for loading up with drinks or maybe in a hallway. By way of a clever little mechanism the lower leaf of the trolley top pulls out and moves up to form a table top if you require. It survives in good order with day to day marks and scratches.
