Bust of Mr Albert Pountney by Mary Milner Dickens A very accomplished bronzed patinated plaster bust of Mr Albert Pountney, better known as ‘Pont’ – always good to put a name to a face. It possesses a great look and would sit marvellously well in a cabinet or on a sideboard. Albert was a contemporary and teacher of Mary Milner Dickens. The bust was exhibited in the ‘Routes from Roots’ exhibition in 1987. Mary Milner Dickens - a little info on this talented artist - As a sculptor her versatility is founded upon the broad education she received at a number of eminent institutions during the 1950s and 1960s.
