Gordon Russell Mid Century Sideboard
One of the best Mid Century sideboard designs by the Gordon Russell team, this one likely a special order of teak and satinwood with little rosewood knobs - a true festival of quality timbers which was Russell's strong point.
It's without doubt a fine looking piece of real quality - the choice of contrasting timber works so well, the little turned rosewood knobs a delight, the interior so very smart, the slight angle to the doors edges is pleasing and the overall condition is first rate.
As mentioned, the condition is very good - not new, but very well cared for and after having been given some time in our workshop it's neat, smart and ready for placing. Drawers etc are working fine with cupboard doors closing level, nice clean interior. We do have the odd mark but nothing nasty or off putting - looks fresh.
A truly lovely Mid Century sideboard from Gordon Russell with makers badge to the rear for good measure.
