Handsome English Oak Chest of Drawers C1920s


A very handsome English solid oak chest of drawers, late 1920s, of sensible proportions and very placeable into so many spaces.


Of superior quality this one sings character - it's not by accident that the timbers chosen by the cabinet maker and workshop on this one are of a lovely wonderful tone especially on the drawers with its highly decorative grains. The chest sits on a delightful set of shaped oak feet with a combination of two half drawers and a flight of 3 long drawers underneath all oak lined with brass drop handles. We have angled decorative sides to the front, good looking molding to the top and a neat low plinth to the rear.


The chest sits in fine order with sensible aging, nothing nasty or off putting. Our workshop has carefully cleaned the piece to enhance the oak and ensured its ready to place. You may wish to browse though our website where we have a low matching chest of drawers if you wish to purchase a pair.
