Mid Century Brass Coffee Table by JWC Payne For Heals No2

The JWC Payne 1960s coffee table is a classic example of Mid Century British design, originally crafted for Heal’s of London.

An extremely stylish and rare vintage coffee/side table of super quality. This one dates from the 1960-70’s and is beautifully made from brass, with its pale grey with white abstract patterned Formica top and brass magazine rack underneath (the label beneath reads “Special Top”. The frame is solid brass with black legs with the feet caps in natural solid brass finish and are nicely tarnished. This one is in a rather excellent condition for its age with light day to day marks. The quality is truly evident throughout.
