1950s Vintage Opaline Glass Ceiling Light Shades “Flying Saucer” Shape x 4 We have 4 of these great looking glass shades which were once used to light up rooms within a University, they date from the early 1950s and we used several in our development, Sion House - shown in one of the images. They are of a good scale with a fabulous shape and form with a rib/indentation to one of the sides. They survive in good order with only the odd nibble to the inside edges but no cracks, breaks or repairs. A nice glow and feel. You will need to find a fixing that would work for you, however we will supply the metal fixing used for Sion House which may help… A rather good looking set of 4 1950s University Shades.
