Georgian Oak Butlers Housekeepers Knife Cutlery Box C1810 Utterly delightful and a little larger than most, this Georgian butler’s knife/cutlery box with two lidded compartments is a great English piece and survives in good order with a lovely amount of genuine historic wear. The two little lidded compartments making it just a little more precious... As mentioned, it survives in great order with a warming tone to the oak and gentle wear to the edges. The insides are clean and smell fine, we do have a little historic loosening of the little hinges but they should be fine and are working well. Just lovely C1810.
