Item Description
Antique mahogany and brass drinks cart circa 1880's from Paris.
Both the trolley and the serving tray are stamped with the makers mark "Leuchars & son"
Leuchars was established in 1794 in Piccadilly London and opened a second shop in Paris 1870 before being bought by Asprey of London in 1888. Finally the business was closed in 1902.
This piece is in lovely original untouched condition with a naturally aged patina and warmth to the wood and an aged tarnish to the brass.
Sitting on original castors and in full working order its a stylish sophisticated trolley to serve your drinks.
