The lid of the egg shaped silver plated body lifts off, to reveal an egg holder with four sections and a handle, it sits on three slayed legs and has a small burner, which would be filled with paraffin or lamp oil, and would be lit to keep the eggs warm.
Condition of the silver plate is good and there are no dinges or splits to the body.
