Item Details

A blue and white Delft tile depicting a romantic scene. This tile would have originally been mounted on the wall in a kitchen in Holland around 1800-1820. It has later been removed and framed in a wooden frame at the end of the 19th century.

 

Condition : several tiny imperfections commensurate with use and age.A small piece is missing from the top left corner, see close up.
