Leather and polished pewter hip flask made near the end of the Victorian period.
Hip flasks became popular in the 19th century when it was the fashion for gentlemen and some ladies to enjoy the great outdoors. They would be carried in the pocket to shooting parties and other sporting events such as horse racing.
In overall good condition with some minor scuffs.
