A very near pair of elm and ash side chairs. Egg and reel legs with hoof feet, elm slabseat with subtle saddle shape and attractive figuring. Hand-drawn elliptical spindles, blind morticed into the steam bent and shaped hoop. Traces of original green paint. Good, solid and suitable for every day use.
