Item Description
A 20th-century hand-painted tavern sign for The Clock Tower, previously The Clock House. Naively painted with a central brick structure set in a rural landscape and surmounted by a bell and weathervane and two large cats seated either side. Losses as pictured but crucially it doesn’t appear to have been over-painted, other than the new wording (though nice how the original text is still evident). English, circa 1930s.
