A superb 8ft large antique English pine folding trestle table dating from the early 20th century. Constructed from pine planks with a wonderfully aged surface displaying decades of honest wear and rich natural patina. Raised on folding trestle supports with its original iron locking mechanism, allowing the table to be folded away for easy storage.

Originally made for practical use in a school, church or village hall, today it makes an exceptional farmhouse dining table, retail display or studio worktable. Comfortably seating 8 to 10 people, it combines rustic character with impressive scale. It is equally at home outdoors for summer entertaining, but should be stored under cover when not in use and is not intended for permanent outdoor use.

Structurally sound with a solid, sturdy construction. The folding mechanism operates smoothly, the table stands firm with no wobble and there are no signs of woodworm or rot.
