Item Description
A well proportioned antique pine and brass trunk by Maides Bros. A well made, solid trunk carrying a crown carving (indicate that the item was supplied to the Crown Estate) and a date stamp of 1940. A large N is carved into the end of the trunk next to heavy brass carrying handles. The trunk retains the original working lock and key.
Some very small minor spots of red paint in places, indicating that at some point in the past this trunk would have been painted red and was stripped of this paint many years ago.
