An original artist proof, hot air balloons over city, by Fanch Ledan.
Lithograph on paper, which has been hand signed and inscribed A/P (Artist Proof), in pencil by the artist.
Small minor faint mark, under bottom left-side of small yellow hot air balloon (for closeup, see last image).
Fanch Ledan is an experienced painter and printmaker based in France whose works have been featured in solo exhibitions nationally, as well as in the United States, Japan, and Australia.
As with paintings the AP or artist proof is a copy of the lithograph outside of the numbered edition, historically made as a test and reserved for the artist’s own collection or to be shown in gallery etc.
