Item Details

A mid-century oil painting on canvas depicting a small arched bridge over a woodland stream. Sweeping tree branches frame the scene, with muted blue-green foliage, warm ochre tones and reflections across the water.

Expressive brushwork and areas of thickly applied paint give the surface texture and depth. Signed to the lower left and presented in a muted wooden frame. The reverse retains an old framing label from The Art Depot, Chatham. Light age-related wear to the frame. Please refer to the photographs for surface and condition details.

Dimensions including frame: W: 58 × D: 3.5 × H: 50 cm
