A large-scale, untitled modernist abstract textured oil on canvas by Martin Walton (1939–2018), from the artist’s studio collection. The composition uses red, blue, cream and yellow against a black ground.


The painting is unsigned and presented in a black-painted pine surround. Arrives ready to hang.

Walton lived and worked in Ludham, Norfolk. His early paintings drew on the East Anglian landscape and his friendship with artist Edward Seago.
