A modernist abstract oil on canvas by Martin Walton (1939–2018), from the artist’s studio collection. The textured paintwork gives the surface depth and movement.

The painting is unsigned and presented in a black surround frame. It arrives ready to hang.

Walton lived and worked in Ludham, Norfolk. His early paintings drew on the East Anglian landscape and his friendship with artist Edward Seago.
