A beautifully sculptural mid-century abstract wooden figure mounted on a bespoke black metal stand. Featuring a highly stylised human form with broad angular shoulders and softly carved contours, this piece has a wonderfully modernist presence reminiscent of European studio sculpture from the 1950's and 1960's.


The warm tonal variations within the carved wood create depth and movement across the surface while the minimalist form gives the sculpture a calm architectural quality. Mounted on a later iron display stand, it works exceptionally well as a decorative object within both contemporary and mid-century interiors.
