Item Details

A striking mid-century modernist figurative study depicting a seated female nude, executed with energetic charcoal lines and expressive areas of blue, red and yellow pastel.

The loosely constructed figure combines confident gestural drawing with bold passages of colour, creating a strong balance between abstraction and representation. Layered marks and softened areas give the work movement and depth, while the unfinished quality adds to its expressive character.

Presented behind a clean white mount in a period Rowley style wooden frame, ready to hang.
