A richly painted mid-century still life by Lewin, depicting a vibrant arrangement of purple flowers, fruit and onions. Broad, expressive brushwork and a deep palette of plum, yellow, olive and earthy brown give the composition a strong modernist character.

The painting retains an original W. Heffer & Sons Ltd, The Heffer Gallery, Cambridge label verso, together with a handwritten owner’s label. Presented in its original simple wooden frame.

In good vintage condition with age-related surface and frame wear, as shown.
