Item Description
A 19th century Howard & Sons deep seated country house armchair raised on short turned walnut front legs with short splayed legs to the rear and all on the original H&S stamped brass casters. The back left leg stamped with both serial number and and makers mark.
The front rail has been raised at some point, probably when it was last upholstered to give it more height. The cushion has been added by me for photograph purposes as I believe it will be a more comfortable chair with a feather and down seat pad however it did come in without.
The frame is in fair condition but would definitely benefit from tightening up. All of which can be arranged by me along with the upholstery.
