A pair of Feeding Geese Decoys from the 1940’s
These have a great form and presence for interior decoration. Made from printed fibreboard with a waterproof wax coating the Stake-Out Decoys are photographic reproductions of geese. Shown with an American oak plinth.
They do not float, but are held open by triangular metal frames attached to a wire stand that is pushed into the ground for shooting over shallow water or fields. The Stake-Out Decoys are in vintage working condition with some fading and age wear to edges and tails, with printed makers mark and details on the inside of the wings.
