Charming early needlework by Charlotte Burton C1840 in shades of pink, red, slate blue, dark blue and soft green.


Features a central, red brick typical Georgian house set in trees and two girls in stylish early Victorian dresses.


The older girl wears a highwaisted dress with large dropped sleeves and a sailor hat, the younger girl wears a high waisted dress with little puffed sleeves bordered by butterflies, roses and urns of flowers in a 20th century frame.
