Enchanting, winged, hand carved Cherub, or Putto, with a painted face, heavily worn, with a naturally aged patina

Possibly from a church or grand estate 

Late 18th/ early 19th century, highly weathered, commensurate with its age.

Some extensive fragments of flaking gesso, the remains of a painted surface on the face and some damage to the wings, where it could have been removed from a frieze

Some treated wood worm
