Large Pottery Rum storage Barrel from a 19th century Public House

In a lovely Jade green with 'RUM" gilded cartouche and scrolls of gilt flowers and bands

It has it's original white pottery cover and brass tap-

Manufactured by L. LUMLEY & Co LONDON, the company made brewing and drinking equipment items between 1884 & 1929

In very good, usable condition. 

2 small chips on the top rim and a nearby hairline crack- image 8

Can be easily converted to a lamp- see Sherry Barrel lamp

Dimensions: Height 34cm, max diameter 30cm
