Set of six beautiful, individually hand painted Fish plates by VALLAURIS, a French pottery company.

Three dimensional fish with a separate section for sauce!

'CHOSES et AUTRES' and hand painted by- 'ch-M-R' on the reverse.

'Vallauris, a renowned French Riviera town known as the "city of 100 potters," has been a hub for ceramics since Roman times, famous for its functional terracotta, lava glazes, and mid-century art pottery.

Popularised by Picasso in the 1950s, the town offers vibrant, often hand-painted, mid-century pieces featuring bold colours, drip glazes, and stylised, eccentric designs'
