A very unusual life-size figure of a pug, dating to approximately the 1980s. It is based on Austrian cold-painted terracotta dog figures from the 19th century, which were often life-size. This little doggy is made of fibreglass or some other kind of composition material. He is nicely modelled and painted. He has a very characterful face, the usual curled tail and is wearing a red collar. He is in good condition with very minor wear.
