Item Description
A superb example of a very large Pig Skin Leather Mill Basket. An extremely rare item dating from the early 19th century, Displaying great colour and wear and full of character. Despite the various tears and patchwork repairs the basket is in very sound strong condition, the upper section has its original steel bar running around the top edge and the base has two wooden skids. A primitive folk art charm, would make a lovely log or kindling store feature.
