A large characterful 19th Century antique stone planter on pedestal, beautifully weathered appearance, with an original patina of moss and lichen that gives the piece an established, timeworn look. Hand carved from solid sandstone, the shallow rectangular planter was once a stone basin, the original drainage hole is plugged with timber
The natural organic patina provides an excellent backdrop as a garden feature, this shallow trough can be used as a planter or could be plugged to hold water for use as a bird bath or water feature. Despite its age, this sturdy stone planter is in excellent sound condition.
