A set of 4 1960s Orient Minor pendant lights by Jo Hammerborg (for Fog & Morup). These are original 1960s ones from the iconic Blackpool Mecca dance club which was a Northern Soul hotspot ( amazing decor and design with lifesize fake trees surrounding the dancefloor- check out the photo. The place was filled with mid century classic lighting and custom "Mecca" lighting). I reclaimed these before it was demolished in 2009. These are hand spun copper or brass shades with a coppered finish and have rosewood finials. Some wear and fading as to be expected. Dent to one but not deep and a couple other tiny dents. These have been cleaned and polished and the inside "T-cutted" to refresh the paint finish and give a nice bright reflection. The finials also cleaned and refinished. Each rewired with 1.5m fabric flex and new brass BC lampholders. Come with the original ceiling cups - thoroughly cleaned and useable. Dimensions in inches/cm; 8.75"/22cm diameter. 9.5"/24cm tall. 0.6kg each. Could be sold as a set or as a single and a trio. Priced individually. 1 remaining.
