Item Description
An Antique black chinoiserie decorated walnut Berger three piece suite, circa 1920, from a Wiltshire country house estate. Comprising a two seat sofa and pair of armchairs, with arched backs, scroll arms and raised on cabriole legs.
The chairs and the back panels of the sofa have recently been professionally re-caned so are good and strong with no damage. The ebonising on the arms is nicely worn commensurate with age.
I can arrange re-covering and supply feather filled cushions and fabric if required. Please get in touch for further details.
Measurements are:
Sofa: 83cm high, 153cm wide, the seats 68cm deep.
Chairs: 83cm high, 78cm wide, the seats 68cm deep.
Would considering splitting the sofa and pair of armchairs.
