Item Description
A French double caned bergere wingback armchair, circa 1910, the carved and moulded beech frame with foliate detailing, the cane seat with serpentine front and removable uplostered seat pad. The back and side wings have fabric covering at the top which would originally have also been on the padded arms and seat. I can have a suitable fabric re-instated by my upholsterer if required.
In excellent condition with strong, undamaged canework and no loose joints. A really lovely armchair.
