A Chiltern Toys 'Panurge Pets' mohair fox terrier, circa 1930, with glass eyes and label to its stomach.


In very good condition overall, the mohair is mostly thick with no evidence of moth damages. There are a few areas of wear, particularly around the back end and the tail, which has some repairs.


Chiltern Toys 'Panurge Pets' were a range of high-quality, realistic plush animals and wheeled toys produced by the British firm H.G. Stone & Co. following their acquisition of the Scottish brand "Panurge Pets" in 1925.
