'The Balaban Holder' - A rare and unusual Edwardian typists notepad holder, the adjustable steel notepad support upon a weighted cast iron base. The transfer detail with the patent no. 27997 and dated 1909. Possibly manufactured by Samuel Jones & Co Ltd.
This would make an excellent cookery book stand for a kitchen.
