A 19th Century Provincial French (Normandy) Comtoise or Morbier eight day longcase clock, the white enaml dial with Roman numerals and signed 'E. BEAUMEL, a Torigni-sur-Vire' within a painted pressed-brass surround of cornucopia and floral garlands, the pine case with original faux-bois scumble glazed paint and with a large glazed apaerture revealing a large painted pressed-brass pendulum, the bottom section of the case painted with pansies.
