English School Portrait of a lady wearing a blue dress and lace bonnet, seated on a Regency sofa beside a window with garden beyond. Oil on canvas. Inscribed 'Pinxit' with distinct signature lower right and dated 1827. Within a gilt gesso frame which appears to be the original.

Condition: In very good condition. Relined and well restored prior to my acquisition.
