A charming antique tripod table with a beautifully shaped top and rich, dark colouring that gives it real presence despite its modest scale. The three-legged base has a gentle unevenness, allowing the table to tuck neatly beside a chair or sit comfortably against a wall. It has clearly had a life well lived, with the sort of character that comes from years of use. Two of the feet show historic breaks that have been carefully repaired, visible in the photographs, and the table now stands sturdy and usable once again.
