Vintage 1980S Christian Dior Omega Choker Necklace

Such a desirable designer choker necklace for the costume jewellery collector.

A very chic vintage 1980s Christian Dior adjustable high karat gold plated ribbed Omega choker necklace with a brilliant smooth reflective shiny surface and such a slinky piece.

I don't particularly like wearing high neck pieces as I find myself pulling on them, but I tested this for over 5 hours when I first purchased it and I can confirm it not only sits beautifully on the neck, but it is incredibly comfortable and easy to wear. The necklace is of a structured, yet flexible form which probably explains why it sits so elegantly, yet with such ease on the wearer.

It has a useful extended link chain so you can adjust it to suit your neck perfectly. The necklace is signed “Chr. Dior©” on both the plate and clasp.

In the 1980s Christian Dior were well known for using exceptionally high-quality, thick and durable 18K gold plating on their jewellery, which explains why such pieces have lasted so well and remain looking so good.

It is presented on the original old card, but in a new box.

Condition: There is a very slight indent that can be felt more than seen at the top of the chocker near the clasp end, but does not affect or detract and is behind the neck in any event. There is no damage to the metal or plating itself. A small imperfection on a very good condition piece.
