This wooden letter A is thickly coated with perfectly aged, heavily layered red paint. Dating to the early-mid 20th century, this wooden letter would've originally been part of a neon sign as is evidenced by the holes in the bottom left and upper right and surface mounted tubing holders. Who knows where this piece originated from... It's an early example from a time when neon would've been the reserve of major sites such as London's West End! The letter measures 24.5cm wide x 39cm high x 2.5cm deep and can be hung or sat.
