I'm not sure whether Salzburgh is a misspelling of the Austrian city or the name of a horse ... Either way I suspect that the Brighton (Brighton Race Track) side is the more likely to be displayed.
Dating to around the 1900s, it has a fairly naive style of sign writing that gives it a folk-art feel. The painted surface has aged nicely; light scratches and surface corrosion that give it an authentic antique aesthetic without affecting its impact or legibility.
It measures 41cm wide x 9.5cm high.
