An incredibly decorative piece, this very distinctive shape is a WW2 era (1940s) training / practice rocket for a bazooka (anti-tank rocket launcher) ...

This particular rocket has probably been re-painted in this striking red / navy blue colour way at some point in it's life and there are paint runs in previous silver colour too. Even after the repaint, this has picked up plenty of knocks, scuffs and scratches - all evidencing a lifetime of use in training sessions. An interesting piece of history.

Displayed on a later metal stand the piece measures 55cm long x 12cm high x 10cm deep.
