This is an antique coal purdonium. A Scottish, oak fireside fuel store with Gothic Revival taste, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1870. A wonderfully practical hearth companion displaying distinguished regional craftsmanship.

Warm caramel hues complemented by golden bronze fittings
Tactile rolled carry handle sits prominently atop the lid for easy positioning
