This is a pair of vintage cinnabar baluster vases. An Oriental, lacquer and cloisonné decorative urn, dating to the late 20th century, circa 1980.


Striking Oriental interest with superb colour and fine detail
Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout
Brilliant red hues to the distinctive cinnabar lacquered form
Interior and base finished in bright blue cloisonné with gilt rim finish
Profusely carved with landscape frieze, showing rolling hills beyond a river
Foliate and scrolled motif accentuates the ground outside of the frieze
