An early 19th century child's nursery plate with a central transfer print of a young girl in a garden. Although this is English Wedgwood pottery, it appears that it was decoarted for the German market. The legend translates to 'The early bird catches the worm'. Comes with original tinplate wall hanger. Small hairline crack.
