Item Details

A fine example of Victorian mochaware pottery. This quart tankard has strong blue and tan glazes, a flared and rolled foot, and 'leaf' terminals to the handle. The applied excise mark is stamped 'Imperial'. There is a very small chip to the rim area, but otherwise this ale mug is in excellent condition, with no cracks or staining.
